Welcome to Holly Bush Park
Leah, Matthew and family extend a very warm welcome to Holly Bush Park, a small and friendly campsite set in the heart of the glorious Blackdown Hills in Somerset just a few minutes from the Devon border.
We have both seasonal and touring pitches, plenty of room for campers and we are open all year round which is great for the hardier caravanners and motorhomers (and campers of course) amongst you!
There are miles and miles of beautiful walks and cycling routes in this quiet, unspoilt area of Somerset. It's only a half hour or so drive to either South Devon or North Devon, so a trip to the Jurassic coastline of Dorset (Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sidmouth) or the rugged Exmoor coastline is a must.
Facilities include (and there are no hidden extras!) electric hook-ups (10 amp), wi-fi, hot showers, laundry room, campers washing up area and a chemical toilet disposal. We also stock calor gas. Our on site shop will be expanding its range of stock from Easter 2022, while a fully-stocked Community Shop & Post Office is a 10min drive away.
We have recently extended into a 7 acre adjacent field which offers an unspoilt environment - an ideal area for walking your dog, or a nice relaxing space for unwinding after your journey. This lower field section of Holly Bush Park will have 25 new pitches that are ready to enjoy in May 2022, a 3 acre dog walking area and a wild meadow, etc.
A short walk away is the lovely Holman Clavel Inn, a traditional country pub where a warm welcome awaits visitors. The pub serves really good food (except Tuesdays - chefs day off!) and also has live music on the last Friday of each month. The pub is famous for its "Tricky" cider (aptly named!) and has a fascinating history dating back to the 15th century as well as a resident ghost!!!! Their takeaway food van visits Holly Bush regularly, during July and August.
