Facilities & Visitor Information

Holly Bush Park is a friendly, peaceful and quiet site. We are delighted to welcome couples and families who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the beautiful Blackdown Hills, as well as the many other attractions the area has to offer.

The 2 acre site has space for up to 40 caravans, motorhomes and tents. It has good access via a wide gateway onto tarmac roads which lead directly to level grassed pitches, many with hard standings. Most pitches are served by electric hook-ups and there are standpipes for water across the site.

Wi-Fi

Free wi-fi is available across the park.

  • A hair dryer is provided in the ladies' shower block and shaver points in the mens'.
  • A laundry room (with automatic washer, dryer, sink and ironing board) and washing up area are also provided.

Electric Hookups

Electric fires are always the culprits for tripping the hookup so please remember to turn any electric fire down before boiling the kettle! Please let us know straight away if you do trip the hook up, we don't mind coming to re-set it.

Bottled Gas

Calor Gas is available on site

Children

Children are very welcome at Holly Bush Park. We do not have a children's play area however, there are several parks and playing fields nearby and we are directly opposite woodland. The park is not suitable for ball games or riding bikes and scooters.

We would respectfully ask parents to supervise their children at all times, and do not allow children under 13 years of age to use the showers unattended.

Pets

Well behaved dogs are also very welcome at Holly Bush Park. We are only 50 yards from Forestry Commission Land, which is ideal for walking the dog and very close to other suitable places such as Otterford Lakes and the Wellington Monument. You never know, you may see deer or foxes on your morning stroll! We are very fortunate to be only 150 yards from a local inn which allows dogs inside, and serves excellent food and real ales. There are several other pubs nearby which also allow dogs. Muddy feet can be cleaned off using the hose pipe we keep for cleaning our own dogs! When on the park dogs must be kept on a lead, and any fouling must be cleaned up immediately.

Park Maintenance

To help with park maintenance we respectfully request that:

  • Items left to stand on the grass be regularly moved.
  • BBQ's must be kept off the grass to avoid scorch marks
  • No hot pans or hot water allowed to damage the grass.
  • Strictly no fires.
